§ 300.186 Assistance under other Federal programs.

This section prohibits States from using Part B of IDEA as a basis to reduce medical or other assistance available under Medicaid (Title XIX) or the Maternal and Child Health program (Title V) of the Social Security Act. States also may not alter eligibility under those programs in connection with providing FAPE to children with disabilities.
