Key requirements
- School Counselor Licensee shall be enrolled in an accredited school counselor preparation program and have completed a minimum of 24 graduate semester hours of that program with completion of remaining requirements within three years
- School Counselor Licensee shall submit official degree dated transcripts to document verification of a bachelor's degree
- School Counselor Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- School Social Work Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- School Social Work Licensee shall have completed a bachelor's, master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in social work

- Media Coordinator Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- Media Coordinator Licensee shall obtain an 'A' level teaching license or bachelor's degree in media or have completed 18 graduate semester hours applicable toward a school media coordinator program

- School Psychology Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- School Psychology Licensee shall have completed all program requirements at the graduate level except for the thesis or internship and submit written confirmation from the college or university at which the individual has matriculated concurrent with the individual's employment

- Curriculum and Instructional Specialist Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- Curriculum and Instructional Specialist Licensee shall obtain a Master's level teaching license and have a minimum of five years of teaching experience in that license area

- Exceptional Children Program Administrator Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- Exceptional Children Program Administrator Licensee shall obtain a Master's level license in an exceptional children's area, curriculum instruction, or school administration, or graduate level license in school psychology

- Teaching Area Licensee shall be employed by an LEA
- A Provisional license for a Student Services Licensee may be issued at a degree level other than that required for the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) recommendation
