NC 1508-1 Class Size: School Age and Preschool

  • The class size or caseload shall be within the prescribed requirements of Appendices A and B of this section.
  • Compliance with this policy shall be monitored through the continuous improvement focused monitoring system, the LEA's Self-Assessment, and the dispute resolution process.
  • Whenever the pupil-teacher ratio for a class period/caseload exceeds the requirements of this section, the class size enrollment form and request for waiver must be submitted to the Exceptional Children Division.
