NC 1505-3.5 Annual Report of Children Served--Criteria for Counting Children

This regulation defines the criteria for which children with disabilities may be counted by LEAs and SEAs in their annual reports. Eligible children must be enrolled in a public agency-operated or supported school or program and receive special education and/or related services meeting State standards. Children with disabilities enrolled by parents in private schools may also be counted if eligible under the IDEA and receiving qualifying services under referenced NC standards.
