NC 1504-2.4 Placement During Appeals
Plain English summary
When an appeal is filed under NC 1504-2.3 by either the parent or LEA, the student must remain in the interim alternative educational setting until the hearing officer issues a decision or the specified time period under NC 1504-2.1(c) or (g) expires, whichever comes first. This placement requirement may be altered only if the parent and the SEA or LEA mutually agree to a different arrangement.
