NC 1503-2.4 Reevaluations

This regulation requires public agencies to conduct timely reevaluations for children with disabilities following specific procedures. Reevaluations may not occur more than once per year unless agreed otherwise, and must occur at least once every three years. Children identified as developmentally delayed have an additional requirement to be reevaluated prior to turning eight years of age or entering third grade, whichever comes first.

  • Reevaluation of developmentally delayed children must occur prior to turning eight years of age, or prior to entering third grade (whichever comes first)
