NC 1500-2.24 Local Educational Agency

  • The term includes any other public institution or agency having administrative control and direction of a public elementary school or secondary school, including a public nonprofit charter school that is established as an LEA under State law, including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Correction, and the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
